Wheatmark author Donna Kshir is dramatically making her mark in the world of publishing.
In
April, Kshir released, "My Life's Fight." Kshir told of mma champion Mark Bailey's turbulent and violent childhood turned
into an adulthood plagued by drinking, crime, and more violence, ultimately leading to prison. The life Bailey lead before
he found God, and turned his life around to become a world champion fighter... which is #3 on Barnes and Noble Bestseller
list in the category of sports and mma.
In July, Kshir released "Dear Diary- Oh Mother." It is the first of a six
book fictional series. The series is based on a elderly woman named Jade and her life experiences.
Jade is an elderly
woman with two grown children and five grandchildren. Her husband has passed away, but life has been successful and full of
love, a life Jade has well documented for years in her private diary. Jade feels it is time to retire her diary with one final
entry — one final entry that she is devoting to the biggest problem in her life, her step-mother Alice.
The final
diary entry is a 60-page heart felt short story covering a lifetime of emotional abuse and pain caused by her step-mother
Alice. Jade tricks her step-mother into approving of Jade’s marriage, as a result of getting pregnant to a much older
man. Awful occurrences depict a mother cruel enough to be Cinderella's wicked step-mother.
"Dear Diary- Oh Mother"
is a poignant story with a strong and wonderful voice. It’s a great read, especially for any daughter who has had personal
problems with her mother, which I assume is pretty much every female on the planet.
